Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 July 2026

Snoozie is a pre-launch product. This policy describes our current data practices during the waitlist phase and how they will apply once the device and app are available. We will notify waitlist members of any material changes before launch.

1. Who we are

Snoozie ("we", "us", "our") is a baby wellness technology company developing a contactless sleep and breathing monitor for infants. Our product uses safe, low-power wireless signals — no cameras, no wearables, no video.

If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us at info@snoozie.org.

2. What information we collect

Waitlist sign-up: When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address. Nothing else.

Device & app (at launch): Once the product is live, the Snoozie device and companion app will collect:

What we never collect: Snoozie does not use cameras or microphones. No images, video, or audio of your baby or home are ever captured or transmitted.

3. How we use your information

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising profiling or share it with third-party advertisers.

4. Legal basis for processing (UK & EU users)

Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we process your data on the following bases:

5. How we store and protect your data

Your data is stored on secure cloud servers with access controls, encryption at rest and in transit, and regular security reviews. Breathing movement data processed by the device is used only to generate your in-app summaries and is not shared with third parties.

We retain waitlist email addresses until you unsubscribe or request deletion. App account data is retained for the duration of your account and deleted within 30 days of a deletion request.

6. Sharing your data

We share data only with trusted service providers who help us operate the product (for example, cloud hosting, email delivery, and analytics). These providers are contractually required to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.

We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users.

We will never sell your personal data.

7. Children's data

Snoozie is designed to be used by parents and guardians. The device monitors infant movement and generates summaries for the parent's app account. We do not knowingly create accounts for or collect personal data directly from children. The breathing movement data generated by the device is associated with the parent's account, not the infant.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@snoozie.org and we will respond within 30 days.

9. Cookies

Our website uses only essential session cookies required for basic functionality. We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies at this time.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product develops. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify waitlist members by email.
